No Brake Rumble (CSP V3) [iRacing]

Post by Racer Fizzi »

Hello Simracers,
I just bought the Fanatec V3 Pedals and set them up in the Profiler. Everthing worked fine, rumbles were perfect, so let´s test them in iRacing...
Then I noticed that the brake rumble doesn´t work, but the throttle rumble works fine. After that I did the diagnostic test in the FanaLEDs software and the brake didn´t rumble, too. The rumble function isn´t blocked or anything, because it worked in the Profiler.

I hope somebody can help me out for my best simracing experience :)

Hi

I just install pedal v3 via usb to pic.

Install Fanaleds but only throttle rumble work in Test.

Try Iracing Abs turn on nothing's.

So decided to used rj12 to wheel base.

Open Fanatec Controller n set pedal setup.

Only the brake give me rumble.

Tried on Iracing with Abs set an 90 n it work.

So I think connection to base is better.

Btw does Fanaleds support throttle rumble yet?

Do you feel the rumble when Fanaleds start? Or when you run the diagnostics under the Help menu?

I am also having trouble with direct connection to the pc, no feedback motor activity in iRacing. I do indeed feel the motor upon fanaleds starting up.

If you feel it when Fanaleds starts up, that probably means your threshold is not set up correctly. I believe the default value is around 82%. Try playing with this value (higher is more sensitive). It's also possible that you don't feel it when braking hard, but that's more likely a hardware issue. Let me know if this helps.

I have the same problem. Direct connect to PC and I feel the rumble when clicking the diagnostics button on Fanaleds.

However I don't notice it in the game.

Which threshold setting do you set to around 82? I tried moving the slider all the way up (right) for max force feedback within iracing. Are you talking about a Fanaled setting?

I posted in another post about Iracing with this issue on pedal rumble motors.

Seems as tho iracing doesn't have any support for throttle rumble and the brake rumble I got to work but then hit and miss then nothing.

So in both profilers with fanatic pedals and fanaleds the tests are perfect just no support and output from Iracing.

Hope this helps

Hi,
I have connected pedal Fanatec V3 by usb to PC and it does`t work rumble in games iRacing and Assetto Coesa), on gas and/or brake.

When I run the Fanaleds (2.4k) test, it works fine.

I have two questions

- do I have to turn on ABS on wheel when I have pedals attached to the USB?
- is there anyone that turn on rumble in Asetto or iRacing on the latest wheel beta drivers - 298 beta, firmware version 298?
