PC going to sleep with software crashes

Problem: While playing RaceRoom Racing Experience and Assetto Corsa (sometimes) my PC goes to sleep. When this happens I noticed Fanaleds software shutdown. I'm not certain if the Fanaled software is causing the PC to sleep. I've been troubleshooting with motherboard maker Gigabyte for 3 weeks and cannot find the problem. Is anyone else seeing this?
I have the following:
Fanaled v2.1
Fanatec ClubSport Wheel base with Formula wheel
Fanatec ClubSport Pedals v2
Nvidia GTX 680 & GTX9800
Motherboard: Gigabyte (GA-Z77X-D3H)
Windows 8 64 bit
16GB of Corsair memory
650 watt power supply
