I was wondering if it would be too much work to add a gear change thud effect to the vibration motors in the Fanatec formula & bmw rims at some point ,,,so every time you change gear you get a thud in the wheel rim.

I don't know if this would work. I can imagine the vibration motors would be too slow to start up, and when you actually feel the rumble, the shift point is long gone.
