I had the same issues, but it was stuck in speedgear for me. I usually prefer gear only. Tried the advise to uninstall and remove any traces of it and reinstalling, but the problem was the same. With the new build released for iRacing, it seems like FanaLeds are not working.
I rather use Fanaleds as it give so much more options and features, as rumble support, which the built in does not.

Did some more testing without FanaLeds running busing GSC and it's still disconnecting.
So it's confirmed that it's no fault with Fanaleds.
Will have to push Fanatec again. They have been giving me great support allways.
Probably some bug in the drivers.
