I narrowed down the problem and found it's only the 32 bit acs_x86 that doesn't work. The 64 bit acs.exe is fine. Since release 1.3 there are separate 32 bit and 64 bit executables. Not sure if FanaLEDs hasn't been implemented in the new 32 bit AC version or there's just a bug in it that prevents it...
