Leo Bodnar Fanatec Rim Adpater Board

Post by stricko »

Hi,

I have recently added a Leo Bodnar Fanatec Rim Adapter Board to my Fanatec Formula Rim so I can use it with a DIY Direct Drive wheel. In Fanaleds this shows up as "Formula Rim" under Game Controllers in Windows and "Precision Formula Rim (F00217)" inside Fanaleds.

When using the wheel in iracing the number display shows a 0 then the gear I am in, and then a 0. Like this as an example: 0n0, 010, 020, 030 etc.

Is it possible to set this up so it works the same as when the wheel was originally on my clubsport wheel. Where the speed is shown and then when a gear is changed it show the gear for a brief moment before showing speed again?

Currently in fanaleds i only seem to be able to set a parameter for each individual digit.

Thanks
Justin

Hi Justin,

This should be solved with the next release of Fanaleds together with an update for the adapter from Leo Bodnar.

Hi - just registered so I could enquire about this. I've got the BMW GT2 rim with a Bodnar adapter board and am keen to get my gears displaying correctly again in PCars. Any news on when this will be publicly available?

I'm more than happy to help with any testing. I'm a software developer myself and previously identified what was causing MMOS FFB to stop working with some games.

Fanaleds 2.4 is here with improved support for the adapter board. Make sure you're running the latest firmware.
