Just to let you know, i regulary contact one of the main developper of 3rd party apps for Project Cars.
And it happend that been Console compatible is how he made the most of is income...
Does it ring any bells ?
Console market is a HUGE one, how many PC version of Project Cars been sold vs Consoles ?
I think that any new product made for a car game/sim must take that in account if making cash and survive is the goal.
Like for button boxes, I was suggestng to devs to make them console compatible, they mostly all laugh at me... who's laughing now that ignitiON make top grade compatible products for $99 ? lol
I even made a box myself as no one was selling it because they tought there was no market for it.
API sent everything over UDP from Console, let's take advantage of it and show game devs it's the way to work, so more games compatible to consoles, more stuff sold for 3rd paty devs...
You can switch from PC to console and still use same top quality hardware you bought.
Priceless...
There is definitly a market for a box that would make PC stuff compatible, some kind of interpreter.
Get Console udp data, analyse, ship it to PC only HW like Fanaled.
Imagine if you could sell your PC stuff to all the console maket tomorow ?
Yea, you could end up having back order issues... lol
