g27 doesn't work ets2

I have a g27 and am trying to get the leds to work with ETS2. I'm running 1.15.1s and can't get the leds to work.
Version 2.2h. It says Waiting under status.

Have you followed our readme and installed the plugin for ETS2?

Yes. I copied the plugin to the folder.
